Restore a backup of your Mirracrypt account settings...

After installing Mirracrypt you need to complete the activation process.  This is a simple process that registers your email address and allocates a unique encryption key for your email. It also encrypts your local settings (and therefore access) using a password you provide when prompted.

Activating Mirracrypt can be achieved by one of the following scenarios:

  1. Choose "Restore a backup of you Mirracrypt settings" and click the "Continue >>" button.


Register Mirracrypt secure email solution.

  1. Select the backup file to restore, which should be named Mirracrypt YYYYMMDD.zip where YYYYMMDD equals the Year, Month and Day that the backup was created.

  1. Read the warning message and click Yes if you wish to proceed.

  1. A progress bar will appear.

 

  1. After your backup has been restored you will receive a confirmation message.

  1. Please enter your password, but remember that it is the password that you used with the message store that you have restored.  If you have changed your password since making the backup copy of the restored message store you will need to use your old password.

  1. After accepting a valid password, you will now have access to your Mirracrypt security features for Outlook.
